For Discovery Senior Living team members, the call to make a difference in others’ lives extends far beyond the workplace. So to help align and empower those continuing efforts, we founded Discovery Makes a Difference, the volunteer and charitable arm of Discovery Senior Living.
Through Discovery Makes a Difference, our coordinated and company-backed volunteer and fundraising efforts enable team members to champion a range of important causes, and give back to the local communities where we all live, work and play.
By raising and matching funds for donations, hosting food drives, participating in charity events, shipping care packages to veterans, children, and families in need, and so much more, we’re working to make valuable contributions to people and organizations all over the country that need and deserve it.
Perhaps best of all, though, team members determine 100% of the causes and beneficiaries we support through Discovery Makes a Difference. Alzheimer’s and cancer research, helping rescued animals find new, loving homes, and brightening up the holidays for the less-fortunate are just some of what we love and have worked on of late. But with team members bringing new ideas to the table all the time, Discovery Makes a Difference will only continue to expand its reach and degree of community and social impact.
